GETTING TO ASPEN!
The earlier the flight, the better!
We have found that early AM flights have better chances of getting in! If you’re flying directly into Aspen, most hotels will offer complimentary airport transfers. For those flying into an alternative airport, we recommend renting a car or scheduling a ride with a transportation service to complete your journey.
Aspen/ Pitkin County Airport (ASE)
Aspen Airport (ASE), it’s approximately 10 mins from downtown. The airport is serviced by United, American and Delta. Depending on the departure city you’ll likely have a layover, and we recommend connecting through Denver.
Grand Junction Airport (GJT)
127 miles (approximately 2.5 hours) to downtown Aspen. Transportation to/from Grand Junction must be made in advance.
Denver International Airport (DEN)
If you are flying into Denver you can choose to rent a car, Uber or schedule a shuttle service to Aspen. Should you decide to drive yourself, there are two possible routes that will take you roughly 3.5 hours. Both involve stunning scenery and climbing over multiple mountain passes. However, the route that takes you over the Continental Divide will be closed.
Vail/Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE)
Fly direct into Vail/Eagle on United, American and Delta Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Newark, Phoenix, Toronto, and Washington DC. The drive from Vail to Aspen is roughly 1.5 hours. Transportation to/from Vail’s airport and Aspen must be made in advance.
